Software Test Patterns: Successes and Challenges

This talk will survey what has been accomplished in the ten years that the design pattern concept has been applied to software testing, consider unanswered problems, and suggest challenges for discovery and application of test design patterns.

Robert V. Binder, mVerify Corporation
Mr. Binder is a software entrepreneur and technologist with over 33 years of software and systems engineering experience. As CEO of mVerify Corporation, he is working on the next generation of automated testing technology. Binder is member of Agitar’s technical advisory board and the Editorial Board of "Software Testing, Verification, and Review". He is internationally recognized as the author of the definitive "Testing Object-Oriented Systems: Models, Patterns, and Tools". Binder holds an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a MBA from the University of Chicago. He is an IEEE Senior Member.
